Our Inspiration/About us

Faithworks~Women is a network of women, for encouragement and support through life’ s issues. We operate a newsletter with more than 400 email subscribers and through this network we bring awareness to issues of wellness,  health, faith, career education, personal leadership, and financial independence.

This is the last quarter of the year and we are will focus on the rest of it in the following way:

• October -  Cancer Awarenes
• November – Thanksgiving -  Was there a special person in your life , who you owe a debt of gratitude but for some reason or other you are unable to get hold of them, share your story and inspire someone else in the process. They could be inspired to appreciate more those around them or to go out there and make an impact in someone’s life.
• December – Year end personal review and goal setting , we kick this off with a personal development workshop November 27th and 28th  which would be a good way to set the review and planning off for you. Kitwe dates -  December 4th and 5th.  Cost K3.5m included in the cost is a Mini Acer Aspire Laptop

Power is when we..

are able to understand what’s needed in a situation and take appropriate actions.

take into account the needs of other people, while taking good care of our own.

are direct and assertive in communicating with others.

have visions and create our reality.

team with others to solve common challenges.

dare to take risks because we know that’s how change happens.

practice patience, knowing that mastery is an incremental process.

While loss of power is when we……..

react out of stress and regret our actions.

don’t consider our own needs a priority.

are unable to communicate our needs and resent others who don’t take care of us.

are confused and look to others to direct our thinking.

are perfectionists and do it all ourselves, don’t delegate or trust others.

play it safe and rarely attempt to do things differently.

feel frustrated when we can’t make change happen right away.
